We are excited to be launching the myenergi academi, we are recruiting for a multifunctional facilities apprentice learning hard and soft services. This is a work based apprenticeship with no day release requirements. The apprenticeship is 12 months long with 6 hours per week dedicated to the apprenticeship portfolio.

Responsibilities: 

Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments ensuring company procedures have been followed with the support of the facilities team.

Contact contractors to arrange planned scheduled and non-scheduled work, updating the facilities team of the dates and work being carried out.

Chase contractors for outstanding work, sourcing dates and RAMS. Record details of work to be carried out whilst obtaining quotes and ensure certificates of completed work are received and filed in SharePoint.

Monitor and maintain the Ad-hoc request task tracker spreadsheet alongside the facilities team.

Learn and assist with the company waste operation to include all recycling waste streams.

Carry out in-house pre-planned maintenance work with the facilities team and update the PPM tracker.

Record, log and submit meter readings for energy usage in buildings.

Ensure out of order equipment or facilities have been correctly labelled to prevent usage when an issue has been reported.

Learn and carry out general maintenance tasks such as plumbing and joinery with the facilities team.

Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders face to face, in writing or by telephone on the help desk.

Work pro-actively as part of a team.

Be proactively involved in the delivery of Hard and Soft services.

Learn and support with sustainability within facilities.

Maintain information in a confidential manner.

Undertake a wide variety of tasks as directed by the facilities manager.

Actively promote the vision and ethos of myenergi.

Qualifications and Experience: 

Positive attitude
Good communication skills
5 GCSEs at 4 and above including Maths and English
IT and administration skills
Eye for detail
Organisational skills
Experience with Microsoft systems
Interested in the renewables sector

Salary: £12,500

Hours: 37.5/week (including 6 hours designated for apprenticeship portfolio work)
