We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.
Reporting into our Lead Hardware Engineer, this level 6 apprentice will be responsible for the electronic design of myenergi products using advanced CAD design packages. Working in highly professional design teams, the apprentice will work alongside many different engineering disciplines, including mechanical and compliance engineers.
Training will take place at Sheffield University. Year 1 the first 25 weeks are 5 days a week at Sheffield. This then reduces to 1 day a week at Sheffield and 4 days a week at myenergi.

Responsibilities:
- Produce electronic solutions to a variety of engineering needs/problems.
- Use electronic CAD design packages to aid the development of solutions.
- Use simulation software to identify basic circuit functionality.
- Participate in peer reviews to improve designs.
- Ensure that designs can be implemented successfully in manufacturing.
- Control design change through use of revision control and engineering management systems.
- Management of personal responsibilities alongside PM of wider objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
5 GCSE's at Grade 4 or above, including Mathematics, English and a Science, Technology or Engineering related subject, as well as A Levels at grade B or above in both a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 120+ credits from BTEC Level 3 Engineering Diploma or an equivalent technical certificate at grade Distinction, Merit, or above.
