You will have a passion for developing cutting edge apps supporting millions of devices that our customers and installers around the world rely on every single day. You will be instrumental to the design, implementation, monitoring and support of future app features which are integral to myenergi's long term business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Write clean, maintainable and efficient app code in typescript based around the React Native framework

Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing both technical leadership and support 

Troubleshoot and debug app defects 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, firmware, support and production. 

Build and maintain robust cloud communication (TRPC) and device communication (BLE) mechanisms

Support the application of test automation across the software stack

Qualifications & Experience:

Expert level app development experience with Typescript and React Native. 
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI) 
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest. 
Familiarity with agile development, both Kanban and Scrum 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to work as part of a distributed multinational team as well as independently 

Desirable:

Experience as a full stack developer in Typescript on AWS
A very basic understanding of electrical engineering. kW, kWh, Amps, Volts, etc.
Experience with other languages such as Python, C, C# and Rust. 
Experience with similar smart home devices, vehicle charge points, solar diverters, etc.
