We are looking for a driven and capable NPD Project Manager to join us in a mid-senior role. The successful candidate will lead new product development projects from concept through to launch, working on innovative products such as domestic EV chargers and home battery storage systems.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a site presence of three days per week, enabling close collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in R&D, product development, and design control will be a significant advantage, enabling you to onboard quickly and add value from day one. You will work closely with the Engineering team and take ownership of identifying, managing, and driving the resolution of key project risks and issues. Previous working experience with JIRA and Microsoft Project will be highly regarded for this position.
Projects will vary in complexity, duration, and stage of development, requiring the Project Manager to be adaptable, quick to learn, and capable of progressing each project through a newly established phase-gate process. Adaptability is essential, as myenergi operates in a fast-paced business that must respond rapidly to a dynamic regulatory and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:
- Actively Manage Project Schedule and Critical path
- Act a key lead to coordinate cross functional/technical issue with relevant technical lead
- Lead Project meetings and take accountability for driving key decisions
- Critical thinking, able to identify areas of opportunity to reduce risks and/or cost to the business
- Coordinate with the delivery teams for resource allocation and identification of gaps, ensuring project needs are met
- Manage the risks and change aspects of projects, consulting with teams to align on the mitigation strategies.
- Lead post-implementation project reviews to capture lessons learned and consult with teams to inform continuous improvement.
- Effectively manage project-related stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency at the fortnightly project review meetings
Abilities:
- Able to operate with a level of autonomy in a matrix environment
- Can do attitude needed and initiative taking will be highly regarded
- Able to interact at all level from engineering technician all the way to C-suite Stakeholders with support from manager
- is able to "get stuck" in the details and get outside of comfort zone where and when the role requires it
Qualifications & Skillset:
- Bachelor or Master's qualification, in Engineering field preferred
- Project qualification (PMP, Prince 2, Agile) - preferred
- Knowledge & previous experience of Microsoft project and JIRA
- Technical knowledge of renewable technologies such as EV chargers, Inverter and battery system will be an advantage to be successful in the role
- Comfortable in leveraging use of AI tools to accelerate learning and workflow in role
- Capable to Analysis complex problems, plans and data set and present in concise and clear format is essential
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of Project management experience within an engineering, software and/or manufacturing environment.
- New Product Development Experience
- Managing cross-functional project teams of 20+ people.
- Track record of successful on-time, on-cost and to-quality project delivery.
- Showing experience in managing projects with overlapping resource and priority will be a plus
