Quality Manager
Reporting to the Installer Scheme manager, you will be responsible for supporting the onboarding and ongoing quality review of our Authorised Subcontractor network. Working closely with the project delivery teams, the role will ensure the professional delivery of EV Charge point, solar & battery storage installations, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with the Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the delivery quality and compliance of the subcontractor network.
Undertake technical audits of Authorised Subcontractors, particularly in respect of EV, solar & storage installations against associated Codes of Practice, MCS, and Wiring Regulations requirements.
Engage, support and develop scheme participants, in person where required.
Take ownership and tackle any challenges which may present.
Ensure workflow processes, business systems and standard operating procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Experience:
City & Guilds - Level 3 qualification - NVQ diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (or equivalent).
City & Guilds - Combined 2391-52 initial and periodic inspection & testing qualifications (or equivalent).
City & Guilds - Level 3 Certificate in the requirements for electrical installations BS7671 18th edition 2382-18.
A deep understanding of electrical concepts and practices, with a special focus on adherence to BS7671 wiring regulations, with experience in the installation of electric vehicle charging equipment, solar photovoltaic, and battery storage systems.
Experience in authorising electrical installation certificates and managing a geographically diverse workforce of subcontractors.
Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels with experience of providing clear and precise technical reports for use outside of the department.
Strong team leader and role model with the ability to communicate Internally and externally at all levels.
IT literate and confident using full Office 365 suite.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
